Twenty-Two Today!!

Anne Marie is twenty-two years old today! When she was
a baby I used to put this 'towel' (cloth diaper) under her face
when she slept because it was softer than her bed covering.
She 'attached' to it, and to this day she sleeps with it folded
up rectangularly and placed across her forehead and eyes!

I've never seen a smiling face that was not beautiful.

Anne Marie has always had her very own sense
of style! Don't have double pierces in your ears?
No worries...two pair of clip-ons will do!
(Notice the color of her dress. The
love for purple began early.)

You were born an original.
Don't die a copy.
~John Mason~

Enlarge the photo to see all of the scrunchies
she had in one long single ponytail on top, along
with the red plastic flower sticking up behind that!
What a hoot!

She has always been a loyal sister.
To her Chaser Bear...
To her Callie Boo...
And, to 'Brumsy.' (Ty)
The world...
is a better place...
because she is in it.
Her caring and compassion
are felt wherever she goes.

Though we travel the world over to
find the beautiful, we must carry
it with us or we find it not.
~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

To our daughter who sees life's
beauty on a daily basis...

Happy Happy Birthday,
Anne Marie!!

Finding Hope

Matthew 11:28-29

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for
I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye
shall find rest unto your souls.

**My two favorite thoughts from Victor Guzmon**

~~The realization came that I couldn't do it
by myself anymore. It was humbling
to realize that I needed help.

~~What I saw through Christ's life was that He
was the healer. He was going to make
me whole for the sacrifices that
He went through.

Wow. Our Final Freshman.

#2...My new favorite number.

Some people say soccer's a matter of life and death,
but it isn't. It's much more important than that.

(In our home it is. Our DVR is full of
soccer and Kris' lunch hours are
all soccer!)

In Latin America the border between soccer and
politics is vague. There is a long list of
governments that have fallen or been overthrown
after the defeat of the national team.

Ty is not Latino. But he IS learning Spanish. :)

THS won...Ty made a goal yesterday...
and TWO today! Go #2!
